Opel could introduce a brand new luxury crossover and a small supply, younger sister of Ampera, 2015. Confirmation of this is Karl-Friedrich Stracke, CEO Opel, which reveals the plans of the German Welt German to head for a double expansion in the market segments currently "unprotected." The design of the crossover, to be positioned above the Insignia, might hold some surprises in terms of design, combining the style of an SUV with a strong personality, in a style that Citroen has taken into consideration for the new DS5.
Such a model could support the brand image of some emerging markets and offer new possibilities in segments currently dominated by the competition.
