A group of Japanese engineers have created a prototype electric car that would be able to travel 333 km on a single charge. In practice: a breakthrough in the field of zero emission vehicles. The company is called SIM Drive and with funding received from 34 companies (including Mitsubishi) have created a concept called SIM-you, with integrated motors in the wheels directly (In-Wheel Motor Drive) and a very light structure that allows long runs with complete autonomy.
The goal now is to refine it and sell it to car manufacturers, so they can be sold on a large scale since 2013. The electric motor, meanwhile, has picked up speed in Germany in recent days, since the government has allocated € 1 billion for the development of cars with zero emissions.
