The new Volkswagen Golf Cabrio comes this month to market with the intention of continuing a tradition that the German brand convertibles are the best sellers throughout history. The different convertibles manufactured by Volkswagen over history have been a resounding sales success by brand. After the Beetle Cabriolet, the Golf Cabriolet from previous generations and the latest New Beetle Cabriolet, comes the next generation Golf convertible, which will go on sale this month.
From Volkswagen want to uncheck this idea of elitism that comes with all convertibles, making this almost popular Golf model. Its canvas roof opens or closes in just 9.5 seconds, being able to perform this operation if it runs up below 30 km / h. It has three doors and four seats, retaining as much as possible the image of the conventional Golf.
However, it has several specific elements such as the new LED rear area, technology also appears on the front, and a moon face steeper. The security features included as standard will, among others, ESP, front and side airbags or automatic rollover system. In the mechanical, the Volkswagen Golf Cabrio will be available to six turbo direct injection engines whose powers range from 105 to 210 hp.
May choose from four versions of gasoline (TSI) and diesel (TDI), being able to associate both the mechanics to change the dual-clutch DSG, except in the less powerful variants. Range of engines for the Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet 1.2 TSI - 105 hp (6-speed manual) 1.4 TSI - 122 hp (6-speed manual / DSG seven-speed) 1.4 TSI - 160 hp (6-speed manual / DSG seven-speed) 2.0 TSI - 210 hp (six-speed DSG) 1.6 TDI - 105 hp (5-speed manual) 2.0 TDI - 140 hp (6-speed manual / six-speed DSG)
