Car Express News: The highlights of last week

Week full of news that just ended to attract the most attention were the Audi and BMW. The latter has announced the next generation of Series 1: a car with a technically flawless and that the motor compartment placed at the top of his class. Technologically very advanced, the German hatchback was still highly criticized for his style retained, by almost all of our community, not up to expectations.

The Bavarian Ingolstadt cousins have instead taken the veil to the disturbing R8 Spyder GT, open-air version of the German supercoupè 5.2 V10 engine with 560 hp. To bear the label "GT" R8 Spyder has lost much and gained 85 kg 35 hp compared to the variant "smooth". Trim and wheels complete a specific package that costs just under € 210,000.

Definitely more affordable the new twin-turbo V6 TDI that end, from the A6, under the hood of the car with the four rings from the more generous dimensions: it was long overdue that an engine is configured as the most powerful 3.0 turbodiesel units in circulation. Definitely out of my head the A1 clubsport quattro, Audi A1 prototype built on a powerful and equipped with the TT 2.5 TFSI of 503 hp RS led to well: anticipate, at least aesthetically, as we will see more extreme variations on the entry-level Audi.

Vallelunga circuit comes directly from the video evidence instead of the beautiful Lamborghini Aventador we had the pleasure of trying in the only habitat where you can take full advantage of (or at least try) to its immense benefits. More "affordable" the SD Mini Cooper Convertible: to test the car we realized that very little cars that manage to combine driving pleasure so high operational costs such content; Put an esthetic success and the pleasure of open and you'll understand why we liked it so much.

In the meantime, Fiat has achieved the coveted majority in Chrysler, which opens up new market opportunities and products for the newborn Italian-American group. The nostalgia of the glorious past of the Alfa Romeo Alfasud were able to rediscover the winning of our first competition "Auto Taboo" on our Facebook page.
