Mazda announced the divorce from his partner Ford, adding that the next car of the medium destined for the North American market will be produced in Japan and the United States as reported in the first place. may end in 2013 with a consequent strengthening of the plant located in a Hofu - the Rising Sun - and Changchun, China. The decision of the vertices Mazda was taken after careful assessment of risks and opportunities to continue to assemble cars in North America, where demand is changing.
The company wanted to emphasize, however, that the likely end of production in the U.S. market will not mean the abandonment of the stars and stripes, but only a different strategy due to the costs of the sites. Same goes for the end of the thirty-year partnership with Ford, which will end with no hard feelings and that will continue even as other types of collaborations.
