Hyundai presented the world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 (-13.3.2011), the new i40 series. This returns back Korea's largest automobile manufacturer in the European D-segment. The model is presented in Geneva as a combination. It is 4.77 meters long, 1.82 meters wide and 1.47 meters high and offers up to 1719 liters of luggage capacity.
As engines to choose from two petrol direct injection engine available with 1.6-liter (99 kW/135 hp) and 2.0-liter engine (130 kW/177 hp) and a thrifty 1.7-liter common-rail diesel , which is offered in two levels with 85 kW / 116 PS and 100 kW / 136 PS. The engines are coupled to a manual or optional six-speed automatic transmission also.
