Fiat logo of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy on 2011 cars

Fiat celebrates the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy and makes the application of a dedicated logo on all Fiat vehicles produced for the Italian market from June until the end of this year. The logo that appears on Fiat cars in 2011 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italian unification will be a symbol from the bottom round black, with a 150 in white with an Italian flag in the background.

Fiat buys 50% of VM Motori

It was recently made official the news of the acquisition by the Fiat Group, 50% of the shares of VM Motori, a company known Cento (Ferrara), until now owned by General Motors and Penske Corporation. From the latter Fiat bought the shares in VM Motori, which specializes in the design of diesel engines, the company will be under joint management of Fiat and General Motors, which share equally the two halves of the stock.
