Employees of the South Korean unit of General Motors will soon be a great bonus and a concomitant increase in salaries, achievements since the last strike called to demand more economic guarantees. Each worker will therefore be awarded $ 6,140 as a one-off and an increase in basic pay of 4.7%, maneuvers sufficient to stem the anger of workers who in recent days have blocked the production of 9,700 cars well.

Turin General Motors: Short a turbodiesel for Indian market
Turin General Motors engineers have developed a new 1.0 three-cylinder turbodiesel that will be assembled in series starting next June. The engine was designed specifically for the Indian market, to meet the needs of the Indian population for what it regards cost, performance and efficiency. The new GM 1.0 turbodiesel will have a maximum torque of 140 Nm at 1,750 rpm, unpublished data for the Indian market, which will compete with all other mini-diesel.
