Mercedes SL AMG Spy Photos

These spy shots depict the new Mercedes SL during some testing at the Nurburgring. In detail, judging from the aerodynamic, from tailpipes and the wheel assembly, we should be confronted with a forklift of the future SL55 AMG: the return of this symbol appears assured given the gradual abandonment of the 6.2 naturally aspirated V8 in favor of 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8, available on the E-Class AMG version 525 and 557 hp, with torque of 700 Nm to 800 and Speedshift MCT 7-speed transmission.

Mercedes AMG Roadster SLS: first official photos and details

Mercedes has released the first pictures and information of the SLS AMG Roadster during final testing. The car, already known in great detail and designed in parallel with the coupe, waiving of course the gull-wing doors of the SLS AMG Coupe and offers a classic, lightweight fabric roof. Its official debut is set for next September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

No technical data has been revealed, but granted the adoption of the 6.2-liter V8 from 571 hp without any changes whatsoever. Particular attention has been paid in torsional rigidity, which are essential to ensure the roadster coupe's the same feeling: this was provided reinforcements to aluminum space frame in the area of the sills, new reinforcing structures in the area of the dashboard and the windscreen; to the center console and an additional structure that reaches from the roof area of the tank and stiffens the rear.

Mercedes: soon the 5.5 twin-turbo V8 for the E 63 AMG

It was just a matter of time early in the Mercedes E 63 AMG will face the first major upgrade in the running. And it will not be subtle aesthetic touches, but the replacement of the same engine: the 6.2 naturally aspirated V8 will be replaced by the new 525 hp 5.5 twin-turbo V8, which is taking place between the AMG models.

Class E are for the same powerstep the CLS, those from 525 and 557 hp, a little 'creatures less powerful than the most exclusive Affalterbach, on which the eight-cylinder engine reaches 571 hp. However, the most powerful version of the E 63 will be able to devour the 0-100 in 4.2 s, much less compared to three tenths of which are mentioned for the new M5.

Mercedes Vaneo: the new generation on a Renault Kangoo

Mercedes could come back to bring the Vaneo, compact MPV that has not been very successful, surviving only 4 years in the lists until 2005 and totaling only 55,000 copies. Infiniti: the low-end model will have a Mercedes engine
