Mercedes AMG Black Falcon SLS GT3 at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps

Kenneth Heyer will lead the Mercedes AMG Black Falcon SLS GT3 at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, his father, Hans, won the race in 1971 aboard another glorious star, the 300 SEL 6.8 AMG. In the race, which will be played this weekend, the SLS Kenneth will have the number 35, the same one that was printed on the body of the father of the 300 SEL.

"It 'a great honor - the pilot says-exactly 40 years after the success of my father, to lead the Black Falcon SLS AMG GT3 lines starting at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Along with the other riders in my team, I will try to get at least second place. The SLS AMG GT3 has the potential to take us on the podium but, as we all know, an endurance of 24 hours obeys its own laws."

Ferrari P4 / 5 competition: new photos from Villa D'Este

The Ferrari P4 / 5 Competition James Glickenhaus was exhibited at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. The car comes only by the sample on a Ferrari Enzo that the American collector was built by Pininfarina, but only in external forms: skin is in fact derived from the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and was created to bring a prototype Ferrari racing in this case in the German VLN category.

The car, like the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Zagato with whom he shared spaces of the park of Villa d'Este, in fact participate in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring in June with the crew Fabrizio Giovanardi, Luca Cappellari, Nicola Larini and Mika Salo. Mille Miglia: two girls swept away in an accident

Last night at around 22 a Ferrari 575M Maranello and 360 Challenge Stradale were buffered because of a bump: one of two cars, a result of impact has hit a curb on which sat two girls, 17 and 27 years. Unfortunately, both have reported bad fractures to the legs. The incident occurred in Mirandola, Modena, and the two cars that were the protagonists were part of the opening parade, the Ferrari Tribute to Mille Miglia.

Volkswagen announced the debut in the World Rally!

Those who follow the races on MSB knows that tonight's announcement was only a matter of time. Today, Olbia, "logistics center" of the Rally of Sardinia in progress, Volkswagen announced that it will field in the World Rally Championship from 2013. The model chosen? The Polo. The compact German, in this variation by race, will be named the Polo R WRC.

Trivia: the sun damages the body of the car most of the bird's droppings

A study conducted by UK-Autoglym reveals that paints cars are only partially damaged by the acid in the excrement of animals, unlike the sun set as the main element of wear and discoloration. The sun heats it, and then deteriorate the paint, which loses its characteristics of brightness and weather resistance, making it gradually more and more "weak." This situation is obviously worse in which case there are organic compounds: these are in fact harden the paint swells, leading to a seriously dangerous combination that will then encore with decreasing temperature.
