Alfa Romeo gives an encore at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2011. After winning the Gold Cup with the 6C 2500 SS, the House of Arese was awarded the Trofeo BMW Group Italy in fact, allocated for public referendum at Villa Erba, a 33 Stradale. To be awarded was in fact an Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale 1968, a sedan with alloy body designed by Franco Scaglione who stands out as a limited edition model: they were in fact only 18 copies made between 1967 and 1971.
Equipped with a 2-liter V8 engine and 230 horsepower produced by Carlo Chitti, the Alfa Romeo T33 is based on the transmission of racing, but differs from it in the presence of the engine power reduced compared to that allocated to the races. Finally, still in the competition of the Villa d'Este, was awarded the Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes Aston Martin Zagato.
Again it was a public referendum, which led to pay homage to this coupe features a 6.0-liter engine and 12-cylinder car a symbol of the ultra-fifty partnership between the home and English Italian coachbuilder.
