Bentley Continental GTC by Prior Design

Originally, the Bentley Continental GTC develops 560 hp. For who can afford a copy, there would be enough to have fun. From Germany, however, is how Prior Design has worked to give the imposing additional trump card of convertible Crewe sporty elegance, wrapped in a dress all in black gloss shade. For the version "revised" family of Continental convertibles produced in the second half of 2006 on the D3 platform also used on the Audi A8 and Volkswagen Phaeton, the focus of Prior Design has focused mostly sulcorpo car, made even more personal than its "standard".

Some CV was added, thanks to a new exhaust system, but the work of Kamp-Lintfort dell'etelier was directed mainly to the body of the Continental GTC, which now shows an unusual aerodynamic kit, made in front of a new bumper which has been integrated into a "lip" of less (made of carbon fiber), so as to create lower downforce at the front.

The huge engine cover has been enhanced with two air intakes for the evacuation of hot air generated by the 6-liter V12, other vents - also made of carbon fiber - are at the front grille . The development side of the Continental GTC was made, the visual impact, more massive and at the same time, lowered through the use of two traditional sill strips.

Upon request, Prior Design complete characterization of the magnificent beauty of Crewe convertible with a new rear bumper, with the center speaker. Inside, the traditional (and in line with the characteristics of origin of the Continental GTC) injection moldings, fine veneer was ... office in the attic, to be replaced with as many carbon fiber panels, a choice, say the technicians Prior Design, formed to create a parallel path of sportsmanship with the changes made to the car body.

Finally, a word on mechanical preparation. The 6-liter V12 has been the standard, a small injection of cavalry (about 15 hp) comes from fitting a new exhaust system, made of stainless steel to allow a flow of gas as effectively as possible. In this way, the power of the Continental GTC is changed from 560 to 575 hp: roughly the same as the Continental model year 2012.

The tuning kit Prior Design, presented recently at the Tuning World Bodensee, the festival of the European tuning that took place (needless to say ...) in Germany on Lake Constance, is already on sale, although with respect to sale price of the tuner Kamp-Lintfort merely a terse "price on request".
