BMW M3 GTS by G-Power: 635 hp race ready

The Swiss tuner G-Power, which has always specialized in the development of BMW cars, has released performance data for the mechanical kit dedicated to the rare BMW M3 GTS, race ready version, lighter and more powerful, the appreciation of the coupe of the House of Monaco. To achieve the unprecedented fireball over 600 bhp, the Swiss coach was able to get their hands on three copies of the 250 units produced for the M3 GTS.

The car is starting with a 4.4 liter V8 with 450 hp and 440 Nm of torque, downloaded through the sophisticated seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox M-DCT. To achieve the mechanical kit G-Power engineers have resorted to the adoption of two compressors ASA (the same used by Alpine for its cars), and a new management of the electronic control unit, while the discharge was replaced with a unpublished terminal sports lightweight titanium with four-way, then the original airbox was replaced with a new carbon fiber.

The result of this work has made it possible to extrapolate a power of 635 hp and maximum torque of 630 Nm which touches share, with implications on the speed performance impressed: the G-Power M3 GTS burning sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.2 seconds, the 0 to 200 km / h in 11.9 seconds while top speed is of 323 km / h.

The cost of the mechanical kit starts at € 23,500, excluding taxes and installation in the workshop, which must be added the cost of the car not just indifferent, equivalent to 115,000 euro.
