However, the goal is not to widen the catchment area, as will be reserved exclusively to only loyal customers who already own a sports car brand. They can order it at the official dealers at a price of about € 37,000. The Cygnet resumes from the city-car Toyota all solutions of mechanics and bodywork, as the 1.3 petrol engine, the CVT continuously variable and the arrangement of the passenger to "3 seater plus 1".
None of this will mark the blood ties with the exceptional DB9, DBS, Vantage and Rapide. But the sense of this utility is, first, allow Aston Martin to reduce the emission of its medium range without reducing the performance of his famous supercars. Second, provide the customer with a practical small car very chic and noble city.
In fact, the new Aston will be stylistically accurate and refined as the other cars of the winged logo. The Cygnet is in fact set up in the English factory by the same technicians that hand-prepare the other cars in the range: the materials and finishes of the passenger compartment are therefore at the top.
On his debut, the Cygnet will be ordered in two special equipment, simply called White and Black. The first sports a pearl paint in "Snow White", embellished with silver bands and longitudinal spoked wheels "White Diamond". Inside, the leather upholstery is echoed Alcatara and pearl white and chrome fittings.
The second is dominated by the dark tones of the interior and bodywork, painted in the special "Black Magic". Included as standard a luggage set specially designed by Bill Amberg to exploit every square inch of the tiny luggage compartment of the Cygnet.
