Chevrolet Camaro SS Indy 500

The American company with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced that act as safety car at the famous competition will be a special version called the Chevrolet Camaro SS Indy 500, made specifically for the event and celebrate this double anniversary. In fact both the 2011 Indianapolis 500 is the U.S.

automotive brand celebrate the centenary of his birth. This is not new to the rest as the Chevrolet Camaro convertible is the 22nd choice to do this "role" (7 aircraft were really Camaro.) The car in question is presented in a special pearl white (Summit White) for the body characterized by the classical dual-band, this time orange.

Color that dominates the interior with leather seats, head restraints on which is imprinted with the logo Indy 500. Instead it is imprinted on the door in large letters the words "Official pace car." The white-orange color was a stylistic choice, which reiterates the celebratory livery Camaro Indy pace car, 1969, one of the most collectible models of this prestigious model.

Under the hood of this special 2011 version finally beat a V8 petrol engine with 400 hp 6-speed automatic transmission.
