Since January, took effect a new tariff for private network to recharge the electric cars in urban centers and other public venues. This was established by the Energy Authority also introducing new rules to support the development of infrastructure charging a fee for electric vehicles. As stated by Alessandro Ortis, President of the Authority, these two measures represent a further important contribution to the development of electric mobility and are consistent with ongoing initiatives to support the development of smart grids, or "intelligent" systems that redistribute any surplus in high energy areas in real time to make it more modern and flexible power distribution networks: it is an approach that also favors the use of renewable resources as well as energy efficiency.
