Ferrari Maserati engines for SUV

The Detroit Auto Show was the occasion for Sergio Marchionne to discuss future plans for Fiat, Lancia models coming from the denial to the nth on whether to sell Alfa Romeo. The CEO of Fiat then also spoke of the much-rumored Maserati SUV, which had already talked about a couple of months ago, declaring what we already suspected, namely that the V8 engines will be available and perhaps even the source V12 Ferrari.

Thrusters "rock'n'roll" as defined them Marchionne, to give the next SUV trident unique sporting soul in the world and thus better able to compete with Porsche Cayenne, BMW x5m and other more powerful SUV on the market. We also know that the starting point for model development will be the last generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Marchionne also said that the SUV Maserati (whose name has not yet been declared but that could be called Kubang, as the concept presented 8 years ago) will come during 2012 and will be assembled in the factory owned by Chrysler's Jefferson North, Detroit , where does the Grand Cherokee and where you will also marchiataAlfa Romeo SUV.
