It will be a Dodge Fiat the first Chinese

The first car to be sold in China with the Fiat brand, following the recent joint venture with Guangzhou Automobile Co., will be a Dodge: the said Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Group and Chrysler, adding that bear the Fiat brand will be the new version of the Dodge Caliber. Production will begin in the factory in Hunan in the first half of 2012.

Also according to the statements of the Dodge Marchionne made in China will have a front and back in style while Fiat's interior will be modified in detail, but always in tune with the Italian brand. This version is the first real joint project for Fiat and Chrysler brands since the two have merged last year.

The new Dodge will be the first to use the platform of Compact Wide Chrysler. Marchionne also revealed that the version for North America's C-segment Dodge sedan, which will replace the Caliber, will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2012 and will go on sale the same month.
