Unrae: increasing the diesel, but they decline the bi-fuel

Diminuisconole aumentanoquelle CNG cars and diesel-powered. The data comes from Unrae, the association which unites representatives of the foreign car manufacturers in Italy, which found that in 2010 diesel cars has increased from 41.8% of the total in 2009 to 45.9% last year, with peaks of 49.7% (almost half) in the month of December, thus anticipating a trend that is likely to continue in 2011.

The growing number of this type of car was parallel to the decrease of the bi-fuel cars fuel LPG or CNG, whose market share fell to 17.6% mainly due to decline in vehicles sold to individuals, partly offset from the increase of those sold to companies or rental. The lack of state ecoincentivi then caused the decline in car sales in the segment A, still dominated by the Fiat Panda, but did not affect much on the segment B in which the Fiat Punto is the host.

Well instead of the C-segment, led by the VW Golf. Stable, however, the higher segments D, E and F, in which the best selling cars are gas-powered, respectively, the Audi A4, Mercedes E-Class and the Porsche 911. Positive crossover sales of gas (a doubling of market share) and minivans, SUVs and stable trend to decrease for sedans and minivans, especially for children who have lost 22.4%.
