The ADAC has tested 285 pedestrian crossings in 19 European cities. It has been shown that the transitions in Germany are relatively safe - if you have no wheelchair is still partially sighted. In the investigation as part of "test €" almost one in six European transition fell through, for almost half the notes were "good" or "very good".Winner is a zebra in Brussels, the loser is found in Lugano in Switzerland. The 45 German crossings tested in Bremen, Dusseldorf and Nuremberg have according to the Automobile Club to an overall high level of safety and are in the standings than the European average. In the last 50 test candidates there is no single local transition.
Of the 45 German crossings cut 23 with "good", 22 "acceptable". Despite the good result is also German in this country still needs improvement, says the club.
