BMW X1 xDrive28i: get the 2.0 Turbo 245 hp

BMW has announced version of the X1 xDrive28i, powered by the new 2.0i petrol engine TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder 245 hp and 350 Nm of torque. This is a new unit with aluminum base that will replace the 3.0i aspirated 6-cylinder engine on different models of the Bavarian house. The engine TwinPower 2.0i Turbo has twin-scroll technology, direct injection injectors and solenoid valve Valvetronic system.

The X1 xDrive28i will be available with a manual 6-speed automatic transmission than with the 8-speed. In addition, the standard equipment will include devices EfficientDynamics program, including Auto Start-Stop system. The BMW X1 xDrive28i accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds, while fuel consumption and emissions totaled respectively the following values: 7.9 liters per 100 km and 183 g / km of CO2.

After the X1, the engine TwinPower 2.0i Turbo 245 hp will also be taken by the 528th and sDrive28i versions of the BMW Z4 and 5 Series. In addition, the new engine will also be taken by the new 1 Series F20 version 128th F30 and the new 3 Series in the 328th version.
