The ambulance Kennedy auction? A hoax

The news had already been around the world and aroused the curiosity of fans and nostalgic. But in 1963 the ambulance that carried the coffin with the body of U.S. President John Kennedy will not be auctioned. And the reason is simple: it was demolished on June 26, 1986. An inglorious end for the Pontiac Bonneville that had the honor and burden to accompany the deceased "JFK" to the White House before being transported to the cemetery.

Following investigations, it was discovered that the auction, scheduled for these days in the U.S., it was all staged, however, that threatened to develop into fraud if the car had been beaten to the benefit of a buyer (real ). The hypothetical buyer would be found in the hands of a handful of flies or a false suspicion.

In recent weeks, several members asked if this car really almost 6 feet long were available for purchase, after members of an association of motorists had raised some doubt, mindful of what happened a decade ago when it was discovered that someone had already boasted of being the owner of this vehicle.
