The Tesla Model S sports sedan is the electric Tesla Roadster which will complement the range in the future, while the platform will also be used for certain derivatives as MPV and crossover.
The car is equipped with the electric motor combined with the sequential gearbox in gear and powered by single lithium-ion batteries located under the floor. The market launch is planned for 2012 and the Tesla Model S will be available in a 160 miles, 230 miles and 300 mile range. As for performance, the car reaches 210 km / h top speed and accelerates from 0 to 100 in 5.6 seconds.
The Tesla Model S has already ordered in the U.S., priced at $ 49,000, net of the incentive of state $ 7,500.
