Toyota iQ was racing with a compressor and a roll cage

Toyota was last weekend (14th - 16.1.2010) represented with 17 vehicles at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2011th On one of the largest tuning shows in the world, the company showed three concept vehicles "Gazoo Racing tuned by MN" (GRMN) and 'G Sports' series, and numerous models. The focus of the stand was the athletic refined GRMN iQ Concept Racing.

The racing Mini is based on the limited iQ GRMN, which was presented in August 2009 and sold out within a week. The new concept car has, among other things, a compressor and a roll cage. Toyota also considered in the context of the 'G Sports' series sporty versions of the Prius hybrid model and the compact car Vitz (Yaris) on.

Additionally issued to vehicles held on the Toyota tuning show discussions with engineers and racers who talk about the presented models and develop ideas for further tuning measures. In addition, new grassroots events like the "Doki Waku-circuit race Gazoo Razing are presented. (Ampnet / jri)
