Minagi Mazda, new and Kuga Qashqai rival

The Geneva Motor Show, is about 3 to March 13, and manufacturers start your engines for the Swiss event. Mazda is, this time, the advances we are one of the concepts that we see in the Hall. This is the Minagi, a compact SUV that anticipates the lines of the younger brother of Mazda CX-7. The concept Minagi Skyactiv inaugurates new technology and design principles Kodo as a compact SUV.

Mazda has offered few details of the prototype that we do live in the Geneva Motor Show. According to the Japanese, Skyactiv technologies are a compendium of measures to maintain harmony between driving pleasure, safety and environmental friendliness. In short, what we do other brands such as Volkswagen with its Bluemotion range, Seat Ecomotive models or with BMW EfficientDynamics technologies: a search for emission reduction and decrease in consumption (the goal is to make a 30 percent 2015).

In this Minagi, this technology will be applied to the engine (high compression gasoline theorists and minimum compression ratio in diesel), transmission (automatic high efficiency) and chassis (applies a weight reduction while ensuring strength and security). No more data on this concept car from Mazda, but we can see who chooses quite aggressive lines and that, failing to make public its dimensions, enter into direct competition with models like the Volkswagen Tiguan, Nissan Qashqai, Mitsubishi ASX or Ford Kuga
