The Ford Focus RS WRC is ready to go. The 300-horsepower turbo four-wheel drive will get later this week from the motor sports world governing body FIA homologation to play during the 13 rounds of the World Rally championship. Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen and Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila are from 10 February for the Ford Abu Dhabi works team for world championship points battle.
The Ford Focus RS WRC is powered by the 1.6-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that develops in the World Rally Car 450 Newton meters of torque at 4000 rpm. The maximum power of 300 hp is at 6000 rpm. It is shifted via a sequential 6-speed transmission with a conventional shifter. The rally Fiesta has mechanical front and rear differentials.
When to use the hand brake, the rear axle is decoupled from the driveline. On gravel and ice, the car rolls on 15-inch wheels on asphalt 18-inch model can be used. New tires Ford is a partner of Michelin. (Ampnet / jri)
