Upon the recommendation of a wealthy Arab client Koenigsegg has created the Agera R, sporty two-seater with power to weight ratio of just over one that will be shown during the Geneva Motor Show (3-13 March). This crazy car shares most of the mechanical package with Agere, although the 5.0 bi-turbo V8 engine receives an additional handful of phosphorus: the horses are well 1115 (+105 compared to Agera), while torque increases to exceed to 1,200 Nm and is declared weight of 1,310 pounds.

The Swedish manufacturer certifies these numbers if you use E85 in a reduction of up to 940 hp and 1,100 Nm relying on common gasoline. Such abundance is managed by a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, while the special alloy Vortex Generating Rim (VGR) use an embossed pattern for maximum downforce.

Performance remain unknown, although the special Michelin tires approved up to a maximum speed of 419 km / h define the size and indicate the improvement in comparison with the Agera: in fact it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.1 seconds and covers the distance double in 8.9. The extreme peculiarity of this vehicle is also underlined dall'apposito extra luggage placed along the roof is made of carbon fiber specialist from Thule and proposed to € 18,600.

This accessory requires a maximum speed of 297 km / h. The Koenigsegg Agera R will be offered at € 1,180,000, € 150,000 more than the Manager.
