De Tomaso SLS luxury crossover

The SLS (Sport Luxury Sedan) De Tomaso is ready to debut at the Geneva Motor Show and finally we can show new images of the car which is entrusted with the relaunch of the historic Italian marque. The sedan / luxury crossover has an imposing appearance, similar in some respects to the BMW 5 Series GT, and as the German focuses on high-class content to make inroads into the hearts of motorists.

The measures, as anticipated, will be important: a length of 5 meters, width and height of 1.90 to 1.65, providing living space to business class. The drive will be full and as I said the engines will be available to start marketing two (both derived from U.S.): a 300-horsepower V6 and a V8 550.

Powerful engine for a car not looking pretty certain, but much lighter than you might imagine, thanks to the aluminum frame produced through a new process called UNIVIS. De Tomaso SLS will be produced at the Grugliasco at a rate of 3,000 units per year and it will follow a high-end sedan and a coupe, for a total of 8,000 cars produced per year
