Irmscher the Selectra - Geneva Motor Show 2011

Irmscher will present a prototype very special at the next Geneva Motor Show: The car, christened the Selectra, is a variant of the all-electric Roadster Irmscher 7, Seven-known German Type in a sauce. Behind the name, which stands for "Elektrische Irmscher Sports Antriebe, hides an extreme car capable of providing 200 km of autonomy and 238 hp.

Just off the scale the value of the maximum torque: 800 Nm! Batteries of German roadsters are lithium-iron-phosphate and were placed in the floor of the car, so as to lower its center of gravity as possible. From Irmscher ensure that the handling of the Selectra no way inferior to that of the Roadster 7.

According to the German coach, the batteries can be recharged to 80% in less than 60 minutes, while a full charge times vary from three to eight hours. The electric motor can operate in two modes, Full Power and Eco Mode, where the choice and autonomy significantly influence performance in inverse proportion.

If the model had to meet a small-scale production, its price will be "almost € 90,000." Irmscher the Selectra - Geneva Motor Show
