Volvo: the P1800 is 50 years old

In these days falls on an important anniversary for Volvo: the P1800, a historical Swedish coupe, takes half a century. The manufacturer has decided to celebrate this birthday TechnoClassica show in Essen, the largest indoor show for classic cars (March 30-April 3). Volvo believes that this car is undoubtedly the most famous of its history and will be shown in the company of famous people who have woven their lives with the P1800.

Among the people who intervene in Essen will be Pelle Petterson, the designer of the original P1800 '57 (later to become a designer of yachts and Olympic champion) and Irv Gordon, the U.S. behind the wheel of his well-P1800 has traveled 4,500,000 km.
