Volkswagen Giugiaro Concept: Two proposals for Geneva

The Italdesign Giugiaro will present at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show (3-13 March) two interesting concept car from Volkswagen compact size: it is a 5-door hatchback and a coupe variant characterized by bold and sharp edges . Giugiaro and Ia House Wolfsburg have a collaboration that has its roots since the first version of the Golf and that last year resulted in the acquisition by the Italian atelier German group.

The two cars leading up to debut a line and simple linear model does not anticipate any particular manufacturer's Teutonic, but traces the style guidelines that will characterize the future of compact cars and medium-sized group that is entering the market in coming years. Both concepts have a front features two LED headlights are very thin, connected together by a chrome strip which houses the symbol "VW", while the windscreen is combined into a single element to the panoramic glass roof, which offers a very bright cockpit.

In the rear view you see a large rear window that the 5-door version has a nearly vertical position and the coupe is obviously more oblique. Italdesign and Volkswagen have announced further details on the two mysterious concept.
