The Nissan Qashqai is over one million

Nissan has announced that the January 31, 2011 global sales of the Qashqai have reached and exceeded one million units. Launched just four years ago, this crossover (which in some markets is marketed under the name Dualis) has brought a breath of fresh air thanks to the philosophy with which he was born, combining the dynamism of a sports car with the ruggedness of a small SUV .

The latest version, on sale 11 months ago with a new aesthetic, it also adds a focus on consumption and emissions thanks to features such as the Eco-Switch. The Qashqai was immediately appreciated by audiences and critics, who awarded her the award of Car of the Year in several countries around the world and the "Yellow Angel" by the Automobile Club German, which annually awards the vehicles that stand out reliability and high quality contents.

And just to enter into this classification in Germany is particularly difficult because the crossover was the only Japanese vehicle imports to come in the first eight places in the ranking of the most reliable car in Germany. From the Alps to the country of China: here, the Qashqai has received an award for safety, given by the research center of the car club.

The Qashqai is now being assembled at the Sunderland plant in the United Kingdom, to Kyushu in Japan, and China. Del Qashqai million sold worldwide, 759,000 were purchased in Europe, and of these, over 103,000 in Italy.
