Lamborghini Aventador, no longer a secret

The Lamborghini Aventador may finally be admired in all its beauty. In fact escaped the control of the House of Sant'Agata Bolognese the first official images that immortalize the unusual super of the Bull. The secrecy imposed by the Italian manufacturer had to hold out until Monday, February 28, when the Aventador will be unveiled to the press in official form.

Unfortunately or fortunately, as often happens in these cases, confidential information became widespread, even though official data are still missing and many other details of the car, especially the interior still remained a mystery. Aesthetically, the successor to the Murcielago Reventon is inspired by the design and concept by Sixth Element, presented at the last Paris Motor Show.

Looking at the pictures in detail can be seen also some stylistic similarities with another prototype of the Manufacturer Emilia, or the Estoque four-door sports, which seems to have inspired the tail of the car and in particular the rear lights. The engine which will power the Aventador - completely new - will be a 12-cylinder V-60 ° to 6.5 liters, capable of emitting a peak of 700 horsepower aa 8250 rpm and maximum torque of 690 Nm Even if you have not declared their performance, it is easy to imagine a top speed close to or above 350 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h below the threshold of 3 seconds.

As per tradition, Lamborghini will be downloaded to the enormous power all four wheels, while the transmission will use the unprecedented exchange ISR (Independent Shifting Rods), a 7-speed robot with steering wheel and twin-disc clutch with hydraulic control capable of reducing the 50% of the time changed from a "double clutch" traditional.

Do not take a back seat secured by the handling qualities of the suspension push-rod inspired by Formula One racing cars and coupled with the sophisticated monocoque frame made of carbon. To have new information must then wait for the official presentation scheduled for 28 February 2011 in Geneva (3-13 March), where they contend Aventador shots of the photographers with another Italian sports: Ferrari FF.
