The 2011 benefits for company cars

Have been published as an annex to the Official Gazette of December 23, 2010, benefits for company car use are valid for the fiscal year 2011. The tables were prepared by ICA and indicate, for a specific vehicle, the value of the income of the employee arising out of promiscuous, both corporate and private cars or motorcycles owned by the company.

The benefits shown by ICA represents 30% of the amount corresponding to a distance of conventional 15 thousand km per year (the fiscal period means extended to 12 January the following year). The benefits, therefore, is calculated by multiplying the mileage of each car for 15,000, is then considered 30% of the resulting figure, a figure that the law gives private car use by employees.

If the latter is already on the employer, a share must be deducted from benefits in exchange for the use of mixed company vehicle, either directly or through payroll deduction. The tables prepared by ACI are organized by type of car, power, and current state of production: if the company vehicle is not present in any table, the income of the employee is calculated by reference to the car and for its characteristics is more similar to that used.

If, however, the use of the car is not promiscuous but people only, the taxable income is determined by applying the criterion of value, taking as reference the value of the rental market of that vehicle.
