Porsche 911 Black Edition: Only 1911 copies blacks

Unaserie Special eternal "outboard" of Zuffenhausen. This is the Porsche 911 Black Edition, announced in recent days by the German company and will make its debut in April, on the whole European market. The special series based on the Carrera, it keeps the mechanics but uses a variety of exclusive productions that justify their name.

From the outer appearance, which gave the 911 a livery all in black, a color that is retained perl'abitacolo. Richer, however, the construction. Porsche 911 Black Edition will be produced 1,911 copies, split between coupe and convertible, at a price which will start from € 87,212. Aesthetically speaking, the difference that jumps over the eye, and which gives its name to this special series, is the dominant color, black (on request you can order a Basalt Black metallic color).

Same "black" for the hood of the Cabriolet. The body color is repeated on the 19-inch, which include measures of the Carrera S: mountain, in fact, tire 235/19 front and 295/19 at the rear. Details of black (opaque this time) even for brake calipers. The other characteristic features are the gray shade band on windscreen and the inscription identifying the model, chrome on the engine hood.

Inside (which keeps the leather trim), the 911 Black Edition offers, as standard, the GPS navigation system, Bose audio system with 13 speakers, three-spoke steering wheel SportDesign, Park Assist Assistance maneuver, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, painted in black on the center console, aluminum air vents, finishing the center stack, shift lever and door sill out of steel with the words "Black Edition".

Complete a personalized plate on the glove box, which contains the sequence number of the chassis. From a mechanical standpoint, the Black Edition Porsche 911 Carrera pattern remains unchanged: in fact behind the rear axle is the same 3.6-liter boxer six-cylinder that develops 345 hp: an engine that pushes the 911 to 289 km / h top speed, allows an acceleration of 4.9 seconds (which become 5.1 in the case of Convertible) on the transition from 0 to 100, and a declared consumption, average cycle of about 10 liters per 100 km .

Among the equipment and accessories, one of which involves getting the PDK dual-clutch gearbox (replacing the traditional six-speed manual). The Porsche 911 Black Edition earns so few tenths in terms of acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.7 seconds (or 4.9 seconds for the Cabriolet).

The price of the 911 Black Edition, which will debut in April on European markets (including Italy, so), starting from € 87,212 for the "basic" model. If you require PDK, will need to spend € 3700 plus: the price, in this case, will be € 90,500. Much more expensive, however, is the Cabriolet version: from € 98,600 to € 102,350 (also equipped with the PDK).
