After a trial that has also affected Europe and Italy, the city Mitsubishi i-MiEV electric car is ready to be sold to dealers in 15 European countries. In addition to Italy, small electric cars with range of 150 km and a maximum speed of 130 km / h will be Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
But there is a waiting list composed by the dealers of Finland, Serbia, Turkey and Slovenia, who have requested to be supplied with this new zero-emission of the Rising Sun. Since the ad hoc production to Europe began in October, the marketing should begin this year, going to represent - together with the ion and the Peugeot Citroen C-Zero - the first wave on a more or less wide electric vehicles in Europe.
The manufacturer has estimated the costs of this "zero emissions" with lithium-ion battery, 70 hp and 180 Nm of torque, are about a third compared with conventional gasoline engines. The measurement is rather theoretical, as the price of petrol and the electricity needed for recharging - usually at 6 hours - vary from country to country.
Reloading in times of so-called "soft" (especially at night) the cost can drop drastically to one-ninth of a corresponding model gasoline. The manufacturer also underlines the fact that a 80% charge of the "tank" electric can be done in just half an hour.
