Ferrari: 999 pieces delivered in China

Ferrari celebrated the "record" historic and symbolic of 999 cars delivered to China. The event was celebrated Jan. 14 with an impressive event held at the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, festive decorations for the occasion. During the festivities were exposed more than 15 models from the Prancing Horse and were handed the keys to a Ferrari 458 in Italy Johnson Zhang, the lucky customer 999esimo Ferrari Asian state.

The ceremony ended with a gala dinner attended by the Managing Director Amedeo Felisa and CEO of Ferrari Asia Pacific Edwin Fenech, along with numerous clients of the Prancing Horse. Zhang received after symbolically and then turned the key in his Ferrari 458 Italy, lighting up a panel with the number 999, said: "For me it's a great honor to be here today.

With this car, I realized a dream, the dream of every man . I'm lucky to live in this very special moment for China. The Ferrari is a symbol of success for me and the values that this brand is are a source of inspiration for the next milestone that I wish to reach. " Felisa said the celebration of the event, declaring: "China is the Ferrari for the present and the future, a great country where we continue to invest.

I'm sure in a couple of years we will reach the 500 cars sold in one year, a number that equates to major European markets. " It should be noted that in Chinese numerology the number 9 - called 'jiu' - is a very important symbol because of longevity and excellence. This longevity and excellence seems to be confirmed by 5 years of stay of the House of Maranello in the Asian country, which has only seen over the past year more than 300 cars were delivered to as many customers in China.

The relationship between Ferrari and China are not only strictly commercial but also artistic and sports. Last year was sold at a charity auction a particular Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE in limited release: "China Limited Edition". The paint of the car was created by Lu Hao of China who managed to marry the traits of the 599 athletes, with those of the precious porcelain of the Song Dynasty Ge Kiln.

Of note is the opening in 2011 of first-make championship, "Ferrari Challenge" dedicated to Asia and the Birth of the Ferrari Owners Club in 2009 China, China's first club dedicated to Ferrari.
