Corvette: C7 turbo engine for?

The next generation of the Corvette could change course in the tradition of the house, the C7, according to some recent advances, could take instead of the current, monstrous aspirated V8, a unit of capacity much lower, helped by the additional power of the turbocharger. The American sports for excellence therefore does not exclude to bend the laws of downsizing.

According to the indiscretions gathered by PistonHeads, the engine is intended to replace the existing 6.2 V8 is characterized by a displacement of just over three and no less than four liters. The supercharged unit, so we can imagine a possible architecture V6 will still be able to reach high speeds and far exceed the 400 horsepower in its base version.
