The family of the BMW 1 Series is about to double. In addition to traditional rear-wheel drive versions, the Bavarian house will offer three new front-wheel drive cars (and open) and more compact (just to annoy Audi A1). Should arrive in 2013, following the presentation of the new 1 Series expected by the end of 2011.
In 2012, then, the redesign will be adopted also on the Coupé and Cabrio versions. The news comes true then the following year.
