Fiat Dino Concept: a coup to dream

There are models that almost 30 years of their production output are still regrets lovers: The Fiat Dino is part of law in this exclusive club. Founded in 1967, the Fiat Dino was born thanks to a collaboration between Ferrari and the Turin-based company and was produced in coupe and roadster. Driven by 2.0 V6 engine with 160 horsepower - up to 2.4 L and 180 hp for the second series - the sport of Turin was able to give a great pleasure to drive thanks to rear-wheel drive and a refined suspension layout.

Today's fascinating coupe back to talk to him through the concept designed by Peter Norris, British design and passionate about sports with some years on his shoulders. The development of the heir of the Dino was not immediate: Norris wanted to build a new Fiat Coupe - exit from the lists in 2000 and owned by the designer in the powerful 16V Turbo version - but during the many hours spent in front of the computer project changed the path approaching Dino the most historic.

Featuring an elegant profile and very low roof, the rear-drive Fiat Dino shows a front engine and front inspired Aston Martin Vanquish and the rear is the futuristic LED headlights with dual exhaust station. As we can see in the gallery, Fiat Dino Concept has been compared to the Pininfarina brand.

The British designer has chosen the Piedmont coachbuilder's badge to emphasize the elegant image of his new creation. Although the project is interesting, especially for the American market, where Fiat is to build a strong, difficult for the new Dino will be produced, and is likely to be only an exercise in style.
