Peugeot 508: updated engines and transmissions

A few months after its commercial launch range of Peugeot 508 suffered minor updates reserved for diesel engines 1.6 and 2.0 and the 1.6 THP petrol turbo, available for both the sedan and the wagon: the introduction of a manual transmission for the 2.0-liter HDi 163 hp, while the engine-1.6 and HDi 112 hp with 6-speed automatic gearbox and Stop & Start is available in setting Allure.

Small reduction in fuel consumption and emissions: The 1.6 THP 156 hp with manual transmission consumes 6.2 l/100 km on average (compared to previous 6.7 l/100 km) and emits 129 g / km of CO2 compared to 155 the previous version. Slightly higher for the station wagon with the same engine: 6.3 l/100 km and 145 g / km of carbon dioxide.

Improvements for the engine-1.6 and HDi 112 bhp with automatic gearbox and Stop & Start: consumption declared by 4.2 l/100 km are in the sedan and station wagon 4.3 (previously 4.4 and 4, 5 l/100 km), respectively, with emissions of 109 and 100 g / km of CO2.
