Alfa Romeo in 2012 with a compact SUV

Finally after so much talk about possible dates and after many sketches and vision might be time, Alfa Romeo's compact SUV. As we can see from the anticipation was given by Autocar and the period for withdrawal should be the end of 2012. According to the latest rumors, the C-SUV, known internally as the House, will be produced at Mirafiori and will have more or less the same lines of the crossover SUV that will replace the market the Compass and Patriot.

The compact SUV Alfa Romeo should go to compete with other such proposals that come mostly from Germany: Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes GLK. The SUV Alfa Romeo falls in the idea of renewal of the House of the Alfa Romeo range which now sees only the Myth, the Giulietta and 159. The C-SUV should be produced more or less 100,000 copies, half of which was destined for Europe and the other half to the U.S.

market. The next step will be the home of Alfa Romeo in the first quarter of 2013 when it should get the Alfa Giulia, while a little further on there will be the Myth of 4C and 5-door, and again in 2014 the restyling of the SUV and Juliet large. All this to achieve the goal that Alfa Romeo has set itself: to sell 500,000 units a year when the renewal of the range will be completed.
