The Ampera has been awarded the Plus X Award. The world's largest competition for products in the technology, sports and lifestyle of the area Ampera by the 134-member international jury as the winner in the category "Innovation and the Environment" was declared. In addition, the drive concept of Ampera "Best Power Technology of the Year 2011" award.
Criteria such as environmental and ergonomic product properties, but also the high quality materials and their processing were decisive for the decision of the jury. With this additional award Opel is now the third consecutive year the winners of the Plus X Award. Already in 2009, the company's innovative front camera Opel Insignia of the "seal of approval for innovations" to win.
2010 Opel Astra and received by wins in seven categories Meriva awarded the title "Most Innovative Brand 2010".
