Chrysler: a kind of Italian models for the U.S.

The managing director of Fiat, Sergio Marchionne, presented to American bankers Chrysler's business plan until 2014, which provides for the launch of several new models including some derived directly from Italian cars. The plan presented provides for the release of 17 new models that will see the debut from 2012 to 2014, including, as many as 15 will be born out of the technical heritage of Fiat, while 4 will be produced directly by the Italian manufacturer and imported to the U.S.

to be sold under the various brands in proportion to the Chrysler Group, all but one, however, that according to initial rumors could be distributed directly with the Fiat brand. The four Italian models that "emigrate" for America should be the Fiat Doblo, which will be sold in the U.S.

in 2012 under the name Ram, and then followed in 2013 by the future Jeep SUV whose production is expected at Mirafiori, and a new model that will ultimately enrich the range Dodge. There is still shrouded in mystery the fourth model that will cross the Atlantic to groped to storm the largest market in the world.

In the business plan with respect to the synergies between Chrysler and Fiat for the U.S., there is no mention of Alfa Romeo, Alfa Romeo's house while being one of the main candidates to implement the exchange of technology and models with the partner of Detroit, so that we was repeatedly evoked the possibility that some of the Alfa American could have been assembled in their factories that Chrysler Group has on American soil.
