The latest news regarding the Citroen DS-3 to its convertible soft top, which, according to indiscretions, should adopt a solution similar to the Fiat 500C. Something had already been realized in recent months, when Citroen decided to abandon the hardtop because he wanted to diversify the project from the 207 CC.
From the Italian manufacturer Citroen should inherit the roof structure, namely the B-pillar, the rear arches and the roof. The new model Citroen Convertible DS3 should take the name of Airflow, since the French company has recently registered. Although the two Houses have wanted to leave the French with regard to their solutions convertible, the platform and the engine range will be common.
The engines of Citroen Airflow DS3 will be: a 1.6 liter THP 155 bhp and a 1.6-liter HDi 92 horses, not to mention the introduction of the new 1.6-liter engine and HDi 112-hp. The debut of Citroen Airflow DS3 could happen in the spring of 2013 and its launch price would be around € 20,000.
