Citroën DS3: the Convertible will adopt a solution similar to the 500C

According to a major advance launched today by France's L'Automobile Magazine, the convertible will Citroën DS3, and adopt a solution similar to that of the Fiat 500C for the hood. The small discovery beyond the Alps, therefore, retain the center and rear pillars and arches of the roof, just like the Turin area.

Advances speak of a debut in the spring of 2013 for this new body variant, which could receive the title of Airflow, recently recorded from the house. The model, using a special solution of the body (which, as it was for the 500 will save on production costs) will be offered on the market with a strike price considerably lower than € 20,000.

The solution of the hard top, moreover, was dismissed from the outset: the DS3 Airflow was to remain a highly diversified product from the 207 CC and his heir. The 208 CC will continue to cover this particular solution. In common, the two French have instead platform and engine range.
