The Tata CEO Carl-Peter Forster has officially announced in that Jaguar will produce a sports-based C-X75, marketed in the period 2013-2015 for a print run of 250 copies. The Jaguar will ask help from Frank Williams and his team to develop carbon fiber and other composite materials and to design a new supercharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which will also use the same displacement as its Formula 1 from 2013.
This version, with four-cylinder engine, will be produced in 200 copies and will have precedence over the more refined variant powered by turbines Bladon, still under development given the significant technical complexity.
