Mercedes G-Class Final Edition, Select Edition

After a 32-year career, the Mercedes G-Class, a symbol of off-road hard and pure, is about to retire. Before you put an end to a chapter that will surely have left an important mark on the history of the automobile, Mercedes-Benz has succeeded in launching two special versions of the unstoppable off-road, the first named BA3 Final Edition is dedicated to the wheelbase short, while the Select Edition celebrates the long-wheelbase version of the legendary German 4x4.

The Mercedes G-Class BA3 Final Edition has a sporty and luxurious setting particularly care by specialists of the AMG racing division who signed the footrest in stainless steel, the new grille with three blades and alloy wheels dedicated 18-inch tires with 265 / 60 R 18. Particularly rich is the standard equipment that includes Metallic paint, electric sunroof, the rear mudflaps, the electronic parking control and tire pressure.

The interior is rather a "living-room adorned with leather interior and walnut wood inlays, while the range of accessories dedicated to the comfort and entertainment can be enriched with numerous options such as TV system combined with DVD player, both connected to LCD screens in the headrests.

THE BA3 Final Edition is available in G 350 BlueTec, driven with the V6 with 211 hp and 540 Nm of torque, and powerful version of G 500, powered by the mighty V8 which delivers 388 hp and 530 Nm of torque. Both versions can download the power exchange through the sophisticated seven-speed 7G-Tronic on ETS all-wheel drive with up to 3 differential locking system and stability control.

The price for the German market on the G 350 BlueTec BA3 Final Edition amounted to € 90,511, while that for the G 500 Final Edition tap fee € 100,685. For the last act of the legendary Gelandenwagwen, the House of the star could not overlook a special version dedicated to the declination of the long wheelbase offroad Teutonic for the occasion called the Select Edition.

Available only with the V8's 388 hp G 500, the Select Edition brings with finishes and amenities worthy of a flagship. Aesthetically, the "swan song" of the long-wheelbase G-Class can be ordered with a special two-tone livery available in white and red-black-silver, and some details such as bumpers, exterior mirrors and alloy wheels multi breed 18 inches, is black metallic.

The interior features luxury and attention to detail that is also reflected in the two-tone leather upholstery, while the range of accessories offers a sophisticated audio system with 450 W, signed by Harman Kardon. The price of this special version - always on the German market - requires a supplement of € 6,735 to be added to the price of the G version 500 "standard".
