After giving us a few days ago a brief taste of the enormous potential of latest mechanical and dynamic creation of the department "Opel Performance Center (OPC), the House of Lightning has finally found their cards to reveal all the details of the Opel Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition . The austere interior, and sports immediately attract the eye through the Recaro bucket seats upholstered in leather and with integrated headrests, custom embroidered with the symbol of the Nürburgring on the headrests, which is also reflected in the brushed aluminum sill.
Other details such as the aluminum sports pedals, steering wheel and gear lever short complement the exhibition racing. Obviously, the more emotions arising from gifts donated by fast acceleration and performance prepared by the 1.6-liter turbo OPC engineers, who worked on the occasion of supercharging pressure and the electronic management of reinvigorating the full 18 hp engine (for a total of 210 hp).
The result is a very specific power of 131.4 hp per liter, a real record for the category, while the maximum torque increased from 230 to 260 Nm to 280 Nm further raise if you use the overboost. According to data reported by the House, the Opel Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition burn sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in just 6.8 seconds (- 0.4 seconds compared to the standard model) and resumed the fifth gear from 80 to 120 km / h in 6.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km / h.
