Opel Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition: new official photos

Opel has released new photographs of the Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition. The special series of 500 individuals, derived from the Corsa OPC has been amended on several fronts to enhance the sporting qualities of the OPC, for which the power of the 1.6 turbo rooms from 192 to 210 hp, while torque goes from 230 to 250 Nm, which become 280 during overboost.

With a true racing spirit, the car was also equipped with lowered and stiffened with Bilstein components, mechanical limited slip differential, Brembo brakes with 4-piston front calipers and alloy wheels 18 "with 225/35 tires. Aesthetically, as well as the badge on the doors, the OPC dedicated to the Ring can be recognized by the more pronounced front spoiler and the unusual twin exhaust integrated into the new rear diffuser.

All changes allow the Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition improves performance, with a maximum speed of 230 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.8 seconds, with an average consumption of 7.6 l/100 km and emissions of 178 g / km of CO2. The car, as well as other OPC, was subjected to a durability test of 10,000 km at the Nurburgring to assess the development and strength of the mechanics, to simulate a lifetime of about 180,000 km on the road.
